Behind the Credit Crunch Headlines
The 'behind the credit crunch headlines' workshop initiated a debate on what the workshop participants felt was important to them for local government, WAG and Central Government to prioritise to help people and local communities through the recession. There was a lengthy and lively debate and lots of proposals were put forward by the 42 attendees, the following were the top three in this priority order :

  1.  KEEP COUNCIL TAXES AS LOW AS POSSIBLE

19th May 2009 -  The Orbit Centre, Merthyr Tydfil

Feedback From Conference

This innovative event focused on the role of Federations and large representatives tenants groups across Wales and sought to raise awareness of issues likely to affect tenants in a era of devolution and potentially massive investment in participation. There was a wide range of speakers and workshops offering valuable and useful information to help strengthen these structures.
